Our Pastor Bill of OVCF spoke those words this last Sunday.
During these trying times, we all need to come center with our faith. To me the left and the right share so much, and yet denies each other the peace that we also need. Some where in the bible of my birth, we are to see the wonder of our world thru the eyes of a child, and not act as children act, needing the parents to love and teach them manners.
Who among us can judge which side the Lord is on?
Becky and I were reading tonight Jeremiah 25 (RSV) tonight and the words that meant the most were v8-9 –
8 “Therefore thus says the LORD of hosts: Because you have not obeyed my words, 9 behold, I will send for all the tribes of the north, says the LORD, and for Nebuchadrez’zar the king of Babylon, my servant, and I will bring them against this land and its inhabitants, and against all these nations round about; I will utterly destroy them, and make them a horror, a hissing, and an everlasting reproach.
King Nebuchadrez’zar was the lord’s servant, his servant..to do the bidding of the Lord, to teach the lords people a lesson.
Seems if you knew nothing of the meme creator.
